​​​​​​​As the managing partner at Blaine Family Eye Care and Look Minnetonka, Dr. Kelly specializes in comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye therapy, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. He also co-manages cataract and laser vision correction surgeries. Known for his thorough, compassionate approach, Dr. Kelly is committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Kelly is passionate about staying up to date with the latest advancements in optometry and integrating modern technology into patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Kelly enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors. He especially values weekends at the lake with his wife, Kate, and their two children, Gabriel and Liliana.

​​​​​​​Since beginning his career in 2000, Dr. Binfet has remained passionate about delivering personalized, comprehensive eye care. He is the managing partner at Blaine Family Eye Care and Look Minnetonka, where he specializes in routine and medical eye exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. He also works closely with surgeons to co-manage cataract and LASIK procedures.

Dr. Binfet takes a proactive approach to eye health, with a strong focus on preventative care. He has a particular interest in how nutrition and lifestyle play a role in long-term eye wellness.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Binfet enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it’s biking, traveling, or cross-country skiing (including his annual tradition of skiing the Birkie). He treasures weekends at the family cabin and quality time with his wife, Sarah, and their three children: Evelyn, Jacob, and Samuel.

​​​​​​​Dan has been with our office for 10 years. He brings a unique combination of technical expertise, creativity, and curiosity to the team at Blaine Family Eye Care. A lifelong learner and avid reader, Dan has a passion for literature, consciousness studies, and optics. He admires innovation in lens technology and is dedicated to helping each person find the right lens design solution for their specific visual needs.

With a methodical and patient-centered approach, he enjoys troubleshooting and finding the “why” behind complex ophthalmic/visual issues. Outside the clinic, Dan looks forward to spending time and traveling with his beautiful wife; walking the dogs; and suspiciously eyeing the cats. He also enjoys occasionally recording and playing live music with a local band. 

​​​​​​​Alex has been with our office for 8 years. She brings a unique blend of creativity, professionalism, and personal style to her role as an optician at Blaine Family Eye Care. A Twin Cities native, she studied art in school and began her career in client services within the corporate world. Her passion for design, attention to detail, and love for helping people eventually led her to the world of optical. With a background in art and a natural eye for style, Alex thrives on helping patients find eyewear that not only fits their lifestyle but also reflects their personality.

She stays on top of the latest industry trends and enjoys sharing her knowledge to guide patients toward frames they’ll truly love. When she's not in the office, you’ll find Alex spending time with her family, her boyfriend, and their lovable dogs. Whether she’s curating the perfect eyewear look or exploring new design trends, Alex brings warmth, creativity, and plenty of style to everything she does. 

Tish brings over 20 years of experience in private practice optometry and has been a valued part of our team for the past five years. Her warm smile and upbeat energy make every patient feel welcome the moment they walk through the door. Tish has a true passion for helping people find the perfect frames that match their personality, lifestyle, and look—and she makes the process fun and stress-free.

Outside of the office, Tish is a proud mom of two daughters. She’s an avid volunteer, loves spending time in her garden, and thrives in social settings. Her friendly, approachable nature and extensive optical knowledge make her a favorite among our patients and team alike.

​​​​​​​With over 10 years of experience in the eye care field, Alyssa is a skilled optician known for delivering exceptional patient care and high-quality eyewear solutions. She has worked in both corporate and private practice settings, bringing a well-rounded skill set that includes pretesting, optical measurements, precision fittings, and patient education. Alyssa is passionate about creating a positive, team-driven work environment that puts patients at ease and makes every visit feel personal.

Outside the clinic, Alyssa enjoys playing volleyball, taking walks around her local lake, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Her favorite role in life is being a mom to her little boy—a journey that has brought her more joy, purpose, and perspective than she ever imagined. Her warm, approachable nature and strong work ethic reflect the balance she brings to both her career and personal life.

​​​​​​​Em brings over four years of optical experience in private practice and is a proud board-certified optician. She has a true passion for helping patients find the perfect pair of glasses by learning about their unique style, preferences and personality. Whether it's bold and trendy or subtle and classic, Em loves making eyewear feel personal and fun.

Outside the office, you'll likely find her enjoying live music, catching up on a favorite podcast, or spending time outdoors. Life at home is full of energy too - EM is a proud mom of two teenage boys and shares her home with two dogs, two cats and a rabbit. 

​​​​​​​McKenna is a recent graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and the newest member of our team at Blaine Family Eye Care. As an optical technician, she plays a key role in the patient experience by performing pre-testing before each eye exam.

With a lifelong interest in biology, McKenna is excited to continue her journey in healthcare and plans to attend optometry school in the future. Working at our practice gives her the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience and deepen her knowledge of the field.

When she's not at work, you can find McKenna painting, traveling, figure skating or spending time with her cat, Yogurt.
 

​​​​​​​For the past 7 years, Michael has been a cherished part of our team, known for his constant smile and welcoming presence. Whether he's greeting patients with a kind word, tidying up the office to keep everything looking sharp, or simply spreading good vibes with one of his signature jokes, Michael plays a big role in making our office feel like home.

Outside of work, Michael is a talented artist with a creative spirit and a deep love for all things Star Wars. His passion for art and his friendly nature bring a unique spark to our team every Friday that he works with us. We’re lucky to have him as part of the Blaine Family Eyecare family!
